The Oarsoaldea and Bidasoa behera regions are very densely populated regions, but which are made up of few municipalities. Thus Pasaia, Errenteria, Lezo, Oiartzun form the first region and Irun and Hondarribia the second. Like other coastal regions, they keep a great seafaring tradition with the Cantabrian Sea and the rest of Europe. This territory is mainly known for its industries and gastronomy, however its treasures go further and we can find natural spaces of great cultural and natural importance. This is why some of these places are listed under some category of protected natural spaces, in order to guarantee their conservation. Perhaps Aiako Harria, Jaizbkibel and Txingudi sound familiar to you, however, despite the fact that they are few, in proportion they represent a large area of ​​these regions.
