Do tours need a minimum number of travellers in order to depart?

No, our tours depart with a minimum number of one adult person.

Can I bring kids and teenagers to the tour?

Yes, in fact we have lower prices for under 18th on every tour. Every kid can come as long as it is part of a booking made by a responsible adult. Under 18ths need to be accompanied by at least one responsible adult.

How big are your tour groups?

In order to create less disturbance to natural areas and local social environments our group tours don’t go over 8 people (children included)

Will tours be cancelled in bad weather?

We don’t want you to miss out on your tour just because of a little rain so most tours will go ahead in all weather conditions. However, if tours are cancelled under extreme circumstances, your guide will contact you to move your tour to another day. For that reason, please make sure your booking includes a phone number or email address where we can contact you while you’re travelling.

How will we move during the tour?

After meeting at the tour’s meeting point, we’ll move by public transport or by food. The only exception will be if you have selected a private tour in which private transportation is included in certain part of the tours.

Can I bring pets to the tour?

Pets are allowed in some of our tours and for free. In order to check please read the description of the tour and check with us at info@basquenomads.com

Are your tours accessible for people with physical disabilities?

We try to make our tours accessible whenever we can, but unfortunately, some sections of some tours may be challenging for those with wheelchairs or other assistive devices. Do you cater for food requirements on your tours?

We can cater for dietary requirements on most tours, provided you advise us in advance. When you book your tour with us, please send us an email at info@basquenomads.com and let us what are your requirements. We will do everything in our power to ensure your needs are met. Please note, though, that in some cases there may be limited or no options for dietary needs.

What is your cancellation policy?

In order to know our cancellation policy please click on the terms and conditions section on our website. In the meantime please know that any cancellations up to 24 hours prior to the tour start time will receive a full refund. Any cancellations made after that window are subject to a 100% cancellation fee, as per our terms and conditions.

How do I cancel my tour?

If you want to cancel you can do it directly from the confirmation e-mail. Otherwise, you have to write to us at info@basquenomads.com. Our cancellation policy will take in account the moment when we receive the notification from you.

What measurements are you taking regarding COVID-19?

Our measurements regarding COVID-19 include but are not limited to:
The availability of hand sanitizer for our guests during the tour. Face masks are required when social distancing cannot be guaranteed and when in public transport and we will provide surgical masks in case you don’t have one. Our equipment (umbrellas, walking sticks, ponchos, etc) provided during the tours will be disinfected before and after every tour. We’ll make sure that the restaurants, bars, vendors and other locals we encounter are compliant with the safety guidelines. We have reinforced our commitment to safety with the development of health protocols in line with the operational considerations for COVID19 risk management issued by relevant health authorities, namely, the Spanish government, the Basque government, the World Health Organization and the European Centre for Disease Control and Prevention with regard to restaurants and tours and trip operations.
